Revolutionary Virtual shopping platform, ViMarket, has announced that its Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is being relaunched. An announcement regarding the new dates and details in expected by the end of this month.

A key driver for this decision was recent guidance from US regulators particularly the SEC, which contests the legitimacy of the “utility token” exemption and indicates that most are in fact securities. ViMarket’s current ICO presale commenced January 9th followed by a successful launch event during the Consumer Electronics Show on January 11th, but promotion was muted shortly thereafter regarding the US authorities position relative to ICO’s. As a “security token” ViMarket’s ViTokens (VIT), now can only be purchased by accredited investors in the US who complete a SAFT (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens). Non-US participants are not currently subject to the restriction.

Private sales remain open to qualified participants until the new public presale dates and compliance are announced and in place shortly.
