The latest installment of chart updates brings a ton of new functionality, and a cool new chart type that you won’t find anywhere else. As usual, you can find the download on the Via releases page. If you’re an existing user, your application will update automatically. If you want the updates now, go to Via Alpha > Check for Updates on Mac or Help > Check for Updates on Windows.

In addition, we’ve added several Deribit markets. You’ll find two futures markets and one perpetual inverse swap market available for analysis. You can view charts, volume profiles, and live orderbook data for these markets.

Cluster charts are available in the latest version of Via Terminal.

New Chart Types

  • Cluster Charts — This chart type provides a very powerful way to view volume data. Each period contains the amount of an asset that was traded at a particular price.
  • Baseline — This chart type specifies a baseline and draws movements above and below the line in different colors for better visibility.
  • Hollow Candles — This is a similar take on the classic candlestick chart. For users who prefer to have their up candles hollow instead of solid.
