He leaped across the rooftops. The bullet wounds would heal and the pain would subside. But his hunger and rage would not. He needed more.
He could have had that scrawny detective if not for that Inspector. Now he was twice as hungry and daylight was breaking soon. He had to find something before he hid for the day.
He scoured all of east end, however none roamed the streets at this hour. He roared in anger, the roofs and windows shuddered at his rage. Daylight was coming and he had to feed soon.
He heard noises. He perked his ears, down the alley he spotted two women heading back home. His face brightened. Quietly he scurried after them. He waited till they were deep in the alley.
Licking his lips, he leapt down.
