‘Humanism’ or ‘Feminism’?

He was beaten. He was robbed not only of his possessions but of his self-respect and confidence. He wanted to cry, cry for help, cry to show that he is hurt, that he also is human.

But instead he let his wife do the crying. He just stood besides her telling the world what she had suffered. Life had taught him that being a man, his cries would not easily interest this world as much as his wife’s would.
