April 17th, 2018 by Anahí Mariscal

Every day less content is being shared in social networks, private media is again used to share it, for example through Whatsapp, email, chats, etc. Have we reached the point of saturation of content ? Authorized voices of the digital sectors in Spain said that:

  • There’s a big amount of contents about the actual topics. Because of the tendency for creating contents about the most seen ones, a massive ofert is produced, and this one has a high saturation of articles. That’s why, less content related with certain contents are being shared.
  • The formula of the “lure Click ” stopped working

This happens because it is produced a saturation of articles that provokes an excess of ofert, and Facebook answered this by penalizing this type of news in their algorithm.

Where is the the better influence now ?

Right now the growth is increasing and the influence of Google as a source of traffic, in comparison with Facebook that their statistics shows a decrease. This phenomenon that is being presented, makes you wonder about the positioning of the CEO in the making of your new contents, for accomplish all your objectives.

Why should you include the visual content in your strategy of contents ?

The human being is a visual creature and a large quantity of information, that is selected of their environment is done through the sight, and when it’s about creating online marketing, ignoring this could be an expensive error for your business. That’s why the visual content has a big importance for realize an strategy in marketing of contents. Each day almost 758 million photos are in social networks. The brands are located here with a very powerful tool that can convert the users to potential clients for their enterprise.

For us the better tool for sharing and positioning content, is very well valued in different social networks, because the information will transform in images and visual processes that will tell a story with the support of illustrations, graphics and icons. For developing them you can use resources, for example Google Developers, Infogram, Easel.ly or Vizualize.

The traditional strategy is to create a blog and useful content of a topic that is not working like a few years did, because the competence saturated all the market niches.

Do you offer useful content for your users ? Yes, well other twenty competitors do the same.

How to highlight and get away of the thousands of enterprises that follow the same strategy ?

These are the two keys:

  1. Bet for visual content, that spread faster.
  2. Have presence in non-saturated channels.

The new barrier is to find elements that makes you highlight from the others. Theses elements could be:

  • Use a new platform.
  • Have a vanguard design, above of the usual.
  • Taking advantage of the visual storytelling (about the post that I am pretty sure you’ll be interested about “10 rules of the visual storytelling”).
  • Use interactive contents.
  • Overpass the competence with a high user experience.
  • Dominate the viral distribution.

The visual content is processed 60.000 time faster than a normal text. Also the images are the content that’s gets viralized with more effectivity by social networks, because of the simplicity when it’s about to transmit a message, the facility that catches the attention of the users, and generating emotional links and are called to action. Infographics

For us the better tool for share and locate content. Is highly valued in different social networks. The information will transform in images and visual processes that will tell a story with the support of illustrations, graphics and icons. To develop them you can use ressources like Google Developers, Infogram, Easel.ly or Visualize.

Presentations

With this format you can condense the slides information to be able to share then in talks or events. In this content you could simplify the concepts, but at the same time it should have understanding information.

The presentation has to be keeped with certain visual coherence and concise information. Trying to (the images) describe the content for reading.

Photos

That’s the simplest way to catch an image and also share it. These ones are used to reinforce and emphasize the messages. The funny content in a memes gives good results when people know the theme. Also almost every animal has a big power of attraction.

Videos

According to the strategy you’ll select, some videos are better and others, The professional videos are an expensive and great choice, although the results are exceptional. But if your budget is not elevated, you can create audiovisual content through the digital camera of the smartphone or the computer. The only fact you have to consider is time, because if the time exceeds a couple of minutes, the audience will lose interest and will abandon the video.

Comics and drawings

Comics have a big power of attraction because these ones are easy to read and consume. To be able to generate this type of content, is not necessary for you to have an illustrator in the team of work, because it exists certain platforms where you can find good resources. For your audience to hitch and stay expectating more content, you should create a story in different chapters.

How could you distribute your content in an effective way ?

You could have a better content that will be presented to users, but if you don’t know to reach your objective audience, and this for get shared, is like you have nothing. That’s why you have to create a good and solid strategy for distributing these contents.

You have to structurate a multichannel distribution plan and crossmedia. Don’t have to limitate the content to just one channel. You have to know which channels are more used for your audience and share it with them. You can use the generated content to foment this new one.

Your objectives and the strategy of contents have to be clear and defined, because later you’ll be ready to create your own visual contents.
