VINU’s ViteX AMA: A Summary

Hey VINUSQUAD! Many of you have been asking about how the AMA with ViteX went — so here’s a recap of the questions and responses. As always, let us know (via any of our social media platforms) if you have any questions or suggestions. VINU promises to be transparent and accountable in our communications.

AMA with ViteX host

1. We are all surprised at the enthusiasm of the Vita Inu community. Tell us how did the idea of creating Vita Inu start?

I had been an avid supporter of the Vite ecosystem for a while at the time and was thinking about additional ways which I could help the Vite chain grow.
I noticed Vite was missing dog coins or a pure-play meme coin that could go viral, and got to work on making Vita Inu a reality and also an experiment in marketing for the Vite chain.

2. Why did you think that with all the dog meme coins already circulating around the world, there was still room for Vita Inu?

So not only was the Vite chain missing dog coins, but DAGs in general were also lacking viral tokens.
This meant that none of the trending dog coins in the market were currently fast or feeless, and lacked native smart contracts — easy competition for VINU.
Moreover, most meme tokens are built on blockchains that require mining. We’ve built VINU on Vite, which doesn’t require any mining. This means that VINU is comparatively much more energy efficient — much greener — than other meme tokens.

3. How is Vita Inu different from all the other dog meme coins?

So you already know by now that VINU is fast, feeless and energy efficient. But the Vite network offers many other perks that other dog coins are jealous of. Vite’s unique Snapshot Block Producer (SBP) system provides daily $VITE rewards for maintaining network consensus. VINU is currently partnered with the ViNo SBP, extending these rewards to also provide $VINU to voters.
This means that there are all sorts of incentives to holding $VINU, which you do not see in other dog meme tokens. Best of all, everything we do on the Vite chain incurs zero-fees, so unlike ERC20 dog tokens, you’ll soon be staking your $VINU without paying ridiculous fees.

4. Who are the (founding) members of Vita Inu and how did you all meet?

Most of the Vita Inu team are already familiar faces, thanks to their experiences contributing to other projects within the Vite ecosystem such as ViNo and VITC.
So if you’ve been hanging around in the ecosystem for a while, you’ll know who these people are, and what they’re capable of doing.

5. We love all the memes of Vita Inu. You have to admit — he/she is a cute dog. Who’s the artist that created the brand image? How did they come up with the concept that you all have chosen?

The aesthetics behind Vita Inu are thanks to our amazing Lead Branding Doggo — Milltay. We went with blue to complement Vite’s colour palette (whilst also being different to the current market), and dogs because everyone loves dogs!
From here we’ve been adding graphics as we go, taking into account all the fan-made VINU memes and feedback, and thinking of fun new ways we can express VINU, such as the holiday-themed VINU in a sweater & ear-muffs you’ve all come to love the past few weeks.

6. VINU is issued on the Vite blockchain. Could you tell us why you guys decide to issue on Vite? What aspect of Vite attracts you to build your project on top?

As I’ve mentioned earlier, there are features of Vite that make it especially attractive to build a token on. It has fast and feeless transactions. Its Snapshot Block Producer feature can also provide additional funds for a small project to grow.
But more generally, we believe in what Vite is trying to do — bridging different blockchains in an easy, fast, and feeless manner. In fact, I was (and still am) part of the ViNo project — which has already built gateways for Nano & Banano on Vitex — before I started on VINU.

7. We are very happy that you have chosen to build on Vite. What can Vite do to help you guys to continue to succeed?

Two things come to mind.
First, there probably can be greater publicity of the tokens that are built on Vite — or perhaps a ViteX launchpad. Increasing Vite’s network effects will help all native tokens succeed.
Second, as both VINU and Vite grow, you must ensure that the network remains fast and stable despite increasing volumes. Both Vite & ViteX will need to be future-proof as activity on the chain accelerates.

8. $VINU is now listed for trading on ViteX, Hotbit, Digifinex (depending on the date we host the AMA), any plans for the next step in terms of listing $VINU?

The team has been enacting a strategy thus far to get the VINU brand out there and onto specific exchanges as ‘stepping stones’ that will gradually net us bigger and bigger exchanges.
Come January, the team will be exploring the integration of VINU on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and a listing on PancakeSwap. We believe this integration will unlock a whole new market of users that will begin supporting VINU, so we are excited to get this done early in the new year.

9. On your roadmap, aka the Vita Inu Pawprint, there are many interesting things your team is pursuing. We can see Staking Program, NFT series, full VR rig and 3D model of VINU, VINU swap, DAO and so on. These are all extremely exciting. Tell us more about each of them.

Some of the roadmap items are self-explanatory, so I’ll briefly mention some exciting ones coming up:
Staking Program — Our first staking activity will begin when we list on Digifinex, with up to $20,000 worth of $VINU in staking rewards for users who stake VINU on the platform.
Burn Program — starting January, the team will begin burning 20% of the total supply of $VINU, in monthly installments.
Vinuverse — We have already teased some 3D models and VINU inside Virtual Reality, and this space is really exciting and constantly evolving. At the end of this AMA we will showcase another Vinuverse item in production we know you’ll love.

10. For you personally, what’s the most exciting part about getting involved in VINU?

The most exciting part would have to be the limitless potential of where our work on VINU can go. What started as a small team quickly became 16, and now is doubling again to 30+ team members and 3 exchange listings, all within a single month of being live.
The community is also way better than we could have imagined. Every day I see new VINU memes circulating online, and our holidays drawing contest had over 100 entries which we are currently in the middle of judging.

11. You have painted a great picture of Vita Inu for a year from now. In general, where do you think VINU will be in 2 years’ time?

The possibilities with VINU are limitless.
One of our big aims for the next two years is to list VINU on as many new platforms and exchanges as possible, starting with Pancakeswap and BSC integration. We expect VINU to be one of the “household names” when you think about dog coins, and maybe even cryptocurrencies in general.
Our other major focus is developing a massive ecosystem around VINU — so it’s no longer just about holding the token, but about how you can use the token for various things within the “VINUVERSE”. We think this ecosystem could be mature by the time we hit the 2 years mark, with Vinuswap operational, additional reward tokens, plenty of NFT lines, people walking around VRchat as VINU, and much more.
We think VINU could become the main meme coin of the metaverse.

AMA with audience members (Twitter)

1. How much of the Vita Inu coin will be burnt in 2022, and how will this help with promoting its goals?

So we will be burning AT LEAST 20% of the total supply next year. It will be monthly, for the 12 months, and is also outlined in our Whitepaper and Roadmaps.

2. The ViNo SBP Voter rewards program was recently launched. How are rewards calculated, how long is the program designed for, and are you considering changing payments?

We have partnered with ViNo so now all users who vote for the ViNo Community Node (SBP) will receive both $VITE and $VINU rewards.
It is currently set to 10B $VINU each day, split between all voters, weighted by amount of votes (so those who have more votes, will receive more of the pool).
There is room to change the 10B over time, depending on things such as the price of VINU.
The program is designed to last many years. Our Whitepaper has outlined the % of supply devoted to SBP rewards. We may also look at burning some of this supply as the VINU price increases.

3. Most of the investors just focus on the price of the token in the short term, instead of the real value of the project. Can you tell us the motivation and benefits for investors to hold the $VINU token for the long term?

This is an unfortunate reality of the crypto-sphere, however we have some incentives and initiatives planned to combat this.
For a start, the market cap of VINU is extremely low. So as we keep hitting Roadmap goals, we can expect our market cap to keep growing, rewarding those who choose to hodl.
As for our initiatives, we have staking coming soon — starting with Digifinex but also staking will come to the Vite platform through VinuSwap. VinuSwap will have even more initiatives, with things such as reward tokens, fee distributions, etc.
And if we can hit our goals in the metaverse, then you would be kicking yourself for selling so early.

4. As an investor of VINU, I am extremely bullish about VINUVERSE. Can you share with us your “secret” plans with VINU on the VINUVERSE, that are not revealed on social media yet?

I can’t reveal any of our awesome super-secret-plans just yet, but I can re-cap the cool things we’ve already done and are in production:
Full 3D model of VINU
VINU as playable character in VRchat / Metaverse applications
VINU emojis/add-ons/animations for the playable character
A VINU-WORLD / VINU-LAND
And the cool Demo I’m going to show you at the end of this to help send VINU viral

5. In terms of vision, what is your long-term vision about the industry you are working on? Also, technology is advancing at a rapid rate — are you afraid that a better technology will arise, and will topple your project?

It would be difficult for technology to be ‘better’ than what Vite already offers VINU: (i) Zero fees, (ii) Instant transfers, (iii) Smart contracts, (iv) Green energy, and (v) Scalability.
But yes, it is possible for further disruption. VINU seeks to disrupt the meme economy ourselves, through all the initiatives I’ve just outlined.
But as competitors arise, VINU will continue to adapt, and we think having a strong focus on the metaverse is a great first-step to cementing a strong future.

6. Will the Swap be based on the Vite network? Are there any plans to launch Vinu’s own blockchain? Do you plan to hire influencers to promote the token?

Yes, VinuSwap will be native to Vite & use bridged tokens. It will have a competitive advantage as it will be one of the only Swaps with instant, feeless transfers.
There is currently no plan to launch our own blockchain. Instead we are focusing on how best to integrate VINU into other chains, such as BSC.
We want to be very strategic with our marketing approaches. Expect things to ramp up significantly closer to our Digifinex listing date, and also when we integrate onto BSC.

7. What major partnerships does your project intend to have? How does your project bring its products to the average consumer — especially non-crypto users?

In terms of partnerships, we intend to leverage all our strong relationships we develop with exchanges we list on, influencers and, of course, Vitelabs.
We have positioned VINU to be an entry-point to non-crypto users, to help them learn about crypto in a fun and exciting way. The price is cheap, and the numbers are large. We also post articles often and educational material.

8. Our VINU holdings are kept idle in our portfolio. Can we expect something we can do with that, like voting or staking?

It is currently not possible to use VINU for the SBP Voting System, but when VINUSwap is released VINU can be used for Governance voting of the VINU DAO.
In the meantime, there will be staking options available, starting with Digifinex and then later expanding to the Vite chain. We also seek to incorporate some AMM/LP activities on BSC once we integrate there.
There are plenty of methods coming to earn with your $VINU!

9. What’s the next step to be taken after staking and listing on Digifinex? What do you think about implementing staking on Viva?

When we list on Digifinex there will be more (soon to be revealed!) activities users will be able to participate in on their platform, to drive demand for VINU even higher. After this listing, we will look to getting BSC integration.
As for Viva, the VINU team is keen to support other projects on the Vite chain and we will be talking to Viva about the possibility of a VINU staking pool on their platform.

10. What will the VINU NFT series consist of?

There will be many different VINU NFT series over time. We are wanting to release first on the Vite chain, once Vitc’s NFT platform goes live.
Over time our NFTs will include awesome animations, rare one-of-a-kinds, designer signature releases, etc.
We will also look to list our NFTs on other platforms afterwards, potentially OpenSea for example.

AMA with audience members (Telegram)

1. Audits play an important role in enhancing the stability of any project. Do you have any audit certificates? Or are you working to audit your project to make it more secure and reliable?

VINU does not run its own chain, so these are not applicable to VINU. Certik is also not applicable to VINU, because of these reasons.

2. Do the token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?

Yes, token holders will form DAO Governance in the future, once the platform is built next year.
VINU will become a DAO, meaning it will be community-driven, so you will get to vote on basically everything and there is a dedicated reserve wallet for the DAO.

3. You mentioned the VINU-Land project. Will it be inside the Metaverse project, or are you going to build a different chain in future for your Land Project ?

We will initially be building inside already established Metaverse projects, rather than try to build our own. So you will find VINU appearing in popular digital worlds.

4. Could you increase the size of the airdrops that go out to the community?

If you like airdrops, join our Discord as we have them there daily.
I will see if we can increase our Twitter tippings soon too to help reward those promoting us to the world.

5. How long will it take for the game to appear?

The video I showcased today was of an animation. We are also looking at Games but these take much longer.
The animation will be ready very soon.

6. What would be the purpose of the animation you showed us? Will it become an NFT in the future?

The animation shows we are thinking outside the box — we expect this animation can go viral online and showcase how VINU is a strong competitor to DOGE & SHIB.
As for NFTs, yes the completed animation will also become an NFT (possibly a rarer one).

7. Are there any Ambassadors program for people who want to contribute to VINU in their countries?

We have many people managing country chats on Telegram & Discord.

8. What will be the measure of success of VINU in 2022?

Fulfilling our promises in the Roadmap, identifying new areas of development, and responding to new challenges.

9. Will VINU be listing on exchanges like Gate.io or Pancakeswap? These will help to increase the size of our community.

Yes, we will be targeting all these, and even bigger platforms.
