Nice (and very very very thorough) read!
Are you familiar with DiEM25 (www.diem25.org) and our European New Deal (https://diem25.org/end/)?
I think the movement was born out of the belief that we (as a global society, but focusing specifically in the European case) desperately need human-centered government frameworks and policies. However, I wasn’t familiar with the “human-centered government” phrasing and I’m surprised I didn’t heard it (or read it) before through DiEM. As I mentioned, the concept itself is similar to some of the movement’s founding principles, but that exact phrasing gives it some extra meaning that I believe is crucial to DiEM’s (and society as whole) survival and prospering.
I’m going to dive deeper into some of the (many) references you made (thanks for that!). But I’m really curious on how do you believe that such an approach could be championed through a bottom-up approach (i.e. without being implemented by central, regional, or even local governments). My question specifically would be: how do you believe the ordinary citizen could get behind such an approach and help implement it? I believe DiEM and other similar political movements are an option, but I was looking for actions that could occur at the individual level, rather than at the collective.
