It has been nearly 3 years since MakerDAO was first formed. We started as a small team with a big vision of building a decentralized digital global economy that was fair, transparent and efficient. It’s truly inspiring to see how far the community has come through this powerful grassroots movement.
Ok. I would consider doing that. Also, I didn’t even sign up for doing anything with my address other than the intended utility. ie., buy KNC tokens. Even if you are not selling it to anybody, I don’t want it to function as anything else but buy your KNC token and maybe your KYC requirements. Using my address for anything else even if it is just my eth address is uncalled for nor what I signed up for
We don’t intend for the private information to be commercial or be exploited for any other purpose. The identity token functions as if a digital certificate that proves the legitimacy of a wallet address. Please be assured that we will not deviate from our KYC terms and we will not share the information with other parties.
Sure, agreed with all that. I do still think that the general idea of enumerating subsystems and using something like the Nakamoto coefficient starts to firm up our intuitions about decentralization.
As an analogy, it’s a bit like the benchmarks game site…
