A complex itinerary doesn’t jive with class warfare criticism. Neither does early check-in. And given the propensity of business travelers to have higher fare tickets, status, or be a frequent flier — it seems targeting passengers is less about class warfare and more about doing the least damage possible while maintaining some semblance of objectivity.
