Closed Beta Testing
Chad made the exciting announcement that we are kicking off Closed Beta Testing. As of the current moment, we have 25 lucky beta testers who will be participating in the claiming process and testing our vApp. The vApp is stunning by the way; the team nailed the UI. I’ll share some images below we have shared with the community in the past. (Perhaps next week’s Medium update will include some live images from our testers…)

vNode Pre-Orders Go Live!
Quoting Chad on X, “The powerful little vNodes are finally here — global network, pure distributed decentralization. Time to make it a reality.”
In the first 24 hours, we sold 120 vNode units destined for 17 countries and 27 US states! The team couldn’t be more excited about the success of our initial sale and the prospect of seeing vNodes in the hands of community members worldwide. Chad adds, ‘We’ve already achieved amazing global distribution in just 2 days.’

We OFTEN receive questions about the expected power consumption of the vNode. Well, Drew decided to test our dev units to provide the community with a rough idea. Small but efficient.

Patents on Patents…
Vitreus has filed for Patent #2! Why are patents a big deal, you ask? They protect intellectual property. When an inventor obtains a patent, they secure the right to exclude others from using, making, and selling their product or method of use for 20 years, all while maintaining the exclusive right to sell the item. The patent process is SLOW. While our patents are filed, approval may take one to two years.

Examining all our options…
Our team frequently discusses compliance in the financial and energy sectors, which is our primary focus. While we are dedicated to completing our initial roadmap as swiftly as possible, it doesn’t mean we aren’t exploring other exciting ways to utilize our technology.

Final thoughts
