Web3 is about the Tech

Here comes a fresh article from the mind of Taylor Cox, our Director of Product Design at Vitreus.

If we look at the history of VITREUS, we’ve been strictly focused on our path to an enterprise platform, with a dash of DeFi and rife with innovation throughout — it’s what the world wants Web3 to do.

VITREUS includes a token, VTRS, yes.

But there is more than that. Such as VNRG, CyberID, tokenization capabilities, and more.

VITREUS includes digital identity. Through the Network Access Credential (NAC), Terminal Access Credential (TAC), and CyberID (SSI), VITREUS represents both person and machine, adding interoperability opportunities and unprecedented security.

VITREUS includes layered security. The bond between the NAC and TAC, the Multi-Factor Authentication parameters, and the encoded PII within a decentralized vector database… VITREUS brings a multitude of security layers beyond the highest standards.

VITREUS includes DePIN. The introduction and deployment of democratized infrastructure through vNodes and community participation allows for the decentralization of the validation, AI inference and data storage infrastructure. Through these, VITREUS has standalone infrastructure that transcends centralized cloud offerings.

VITREUS includes Oracles. The direct connection and migration of data from outside the blockchain to the blockchain, is an “Oracle” in the world of blockchain. VITREUS securely and bidirectionally connects to a business’s legacy systems, duplicates data into a usable state within the blockchain, and enables its use through smart contracts, digital assets, and VITREUS COMPLiQ.

VITREUS includes private environments. Each business is deployed a new blockchain that correlates with the substrate nomenclature of a parachain. A sovereign blockchain, each business has their secure data merged onto the blockchain, with their own logic and uses that rolls through the entirety of the VITREUS platform to its other unique elements in the methods they want while leveraging substrates XCMP.

VITREUS includes business logic.

The days of the basic token are fading. The infrastructure capacity of web3 libraries has matured enough for real implementation to take place.

While the traditional token wouldn’t be obsolete yet, the rise of utility-based devices, such as VTRS and VNRG will need to be standard. We see the regulation forming across multiple boards.

Businesses WANT to use blockchain — it makes sense.

Blockchain is more secure than centralized technology.

Blockchain is more reliable than traditional methods.

Blockchain can be simpler than moving into the cloud.

The real issue with blockchain adoption is the technical hurdles with user experience. Remember the early stages of the internet? Dial-up internet, waiting, connecting, loading, etc…. These were harsh, took a lot to develop on and wasn’t overly friendly… but it was exciting at the time! Blockchain has moved past its dial-up stage. With high-speed connecting us to sleek interfaces, data pipelines exist, identity protocols are working. The innovative players are dabbling, it’s evident we are near the maturity required to release blockchain technology to the masses, including the enterprise sectors.

With VITREUS, accessing the technology challenged market of the RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) space required the streamlining of the UX within the web3 world.

While wallets must exist, they don’t necessarily have to be the portal. Through the use of the NAC, we can create an account that functions like an agent, offering enhanced security and an inherently clear user experience, while still maintaining full functionality.

Using web3 should feel like an evolution in functionality from web2. For too long, the desire for web3 adoption has focused on tokens or coins, hoping for institutional funding without providing a compelling arguement for it.

VITREUS does this differently.

Web2 user experience meets frictionless web3 interactions — an evolution that is both needed and deserved.

This leads to a familiar ‘web app’ experience, which is, in fact, a dApp deployed in a private blockchain environment, powered by VNRG, facilitating connections across multiple blockchains, all while using a wallet. It offers a user experience that doesn’t feel different from the traditional UX we’ve grown to appreciate, avoiding the clumsy web3 flows we’ve seen.

The demand for technology is undeniable. While innovations have been made by those who came before us, many corners were cut. Now, it’s time to gather and deploy a holistic solution.

Blockchain Nodes don’t need to be put into a cloud, but that’s easy.

DApp UI’s don’t need to be pretty, but it’s easy.

Web3 doesn’t need to be X, Y or Z… It’s all easy.

VITREUS didn’t take the easy road — anywhere. We’ve developed three layers of DePIN, aligning the entire platform to address a broad and overwhelming need present across multiple industries. Rather than focusing on a single facet, we’ve embraced every aspect, aligning with the diverse needs across industries and packaging it into something sleek and user-friendly.

The proof is in the pudding! We have corporate partnerships with the likes of Cloudflare, Western Digital, Mainsail, and Red Hat, with several others in the works. We’re making significant strides with these prominent partners.
