A quick guide to Void Investments

The Void Investments Dapp is one of the Core dapps in the Void Bank ecosystem. This is where Void Glass investors who have a voting share in the bank, can vote on where the Void Banks weekly investment funds are spent.

The investors of the Void Glass Dapp will receive a voting share to use in the Void Investments Dapp at a 1:1 ratio. Meaning 1 Void is 1 Voting share.

During the week, glass users can vote using their voting shares and can vote for one or multiple projects they like. Users can vote any number of times and add more Void to their Void Glass stake, to cast more votes in Void Investments.

Once a vote is cast, users can NOT cancel their votes. Vote stay and will reset after each week. Meaning users may use their Glass stake freely.

At the end of each week, all the votes will be counted and that weeks investment funds will be split and sent out, according to the percentage of votes the project received.

Say there are 5 voting options available and at the end of the week the projects received the following votes:

  • Project A ~ 45%
  • Project B ~ 20%
  • Project C ~ 17.5%
  • Project D ~ 12.5%
  • Devs to take a share ~ 5%

These results determine how much of that weeks funds will be invested in each project.

Once a project has an investment made, all profits from those projects will be paid out weekly to the Void Glass div pools.

Thats everything about the Void Investments dapp. If you have any questions or enquires about Void and its dapps, head on over to our Telegram.
