We will be accepting donations to help us fund Volta.
Why donations
Volta didn’t have a premine and didn’t hold an ICO. This means we have little funds to start the project with. There are a few reasons behind this but it comes down to is that if a team holds a lot of their supply there’s a conflict of interest.
Will donations be our only source of funds?
No. We’re going to build big platforms on top of Volta that will make sure that we will be able to develop it further. We are already developing a few of these platforms and are planning out many others. We’re going to release more information about all of our planned platforms in the near future.
What will we use it for
There are a few categories in which it is important to have some kind of funds to support. These are:
- Exchanges
- Development
- Advertising
- Other platforms
Most exchanges and platforms ask for a listing fee. Without funds we will have a hard time getting listed on any and thus getting some help with getting listed will be very important.
Money spend on development will help us get more projects finished in less time. Second to getting listed to exchanges because we don’t require any extra funds to develop our platforms but it still would greatly increase the amount of work we can do.
