We’re very happy to tell you that we’re finally able to show you what we’ve been working on for a little while now: Voltawallet.
Features
On Release
When we’re releasing Voltawallet it will have everything needed to control your Volta over the web.
There will be a simple account system to make it easier for you to tie your Volta to an account.
You will be able to generate multiple addresses for your Volta via our dashboard. Here you will also be able to get an overview of how much Volta you have, how many transactions you sent and what your latest transaction was. You’ll also be able to send your Volta from your wallet to other wallets via our dashboard. This is of course password protected to make sure there isn’t an easy way to steal your Volta.
We will also offer an easy way to view your transaction history via our history tab. Here you can view all your deposits and withdrawals from your account.
Future
Working with crypto you get used to seeing a long string of characters and sending your coins to that long string. Problem is: it’s very hard to remember those long strings and it’s very hard to remember who’s address is who’s. This is why we’ll be adding an address-book in which you can tie an address to a name. You’ll be able to search the name of a friend, click on their name and send a transaction. No more copy and pasting their address!
Sometimes you want to receive some money from someone. Now you don’t have to ask for their address but can just fill in the relevant information and send them a link. No need to send address to one another. This way you can also throw this link in your group chat and receive you Volta from whom hasn’t payed you back yet!
Voltawallet is a solution to store your Volta. But maybe you also want to store your Bitcoin. Wouldn’t it be much easier to be able to store more coins in Voltawallet? Well in a future version of Voltawallet we’re adding support for more then just Volta meaning you won’t have to switch from wallet client to wallet client.
Having to send a transaction every time again can be frustrating and annoying. This is why we’ll be supporting recurring transactions. Just create a transaction like you normally would but also fill in the rate at which the transaction will reoccur and you wont have to look back at it!
