Here are the tips that will help you while writing your research proposal.
Try to replace yourself in the reviewer’s position: be coherent, make your proposal easy to read
Avoid a ‘trust me’-attitude (Folkman and Pequegnat 2011)
‘Don’t get it right, get it written. Write it, then get it right.’ (Boden, Kenway and Epstein 2005, I)
When you read your (draft) proposal, verify whether it sufficiently convinces your reviewers (in this course: your teachers) of the:
→ need
→ feasibility
→ generalizability
→ continuity
→ applicability
→ scientific merit
(→ findability)
(Ask peers to test whether you have achieved these goals according to them.)
