Introduction

With the launch of WORLD3 to the public, and with an influx of users entering Matrix World, it’s time to outline how users will be able to enter the world so they can start exploring, customize their Avatars, and engage in conversation with other users!

WORLD3: A Next-Gen Autonomous Intelligent World (AIW)

WORLD3 is an AI-powered Autonomous World that connects Bitcoin with all other Turing-complete blockchains. Play games and create immersive experiences with 2D and 3D dApps. Forge unforgettable memories, and begin your adventure in the next-generation Autonomous Intelligent World. This world is yours and ours for the making.

Matrix World: A Programmable 3D Multichain Metaverse

Matrix World is a 3D programmable multichain metaverse that serves as both a social and operational nexus and was conceived with a focus on accessibility and interoperability. Matrix World’s commitment to flexibility, inclusivity, and interoperability marks a new era for digital ecosystems, where the barriers between different web dimensions are seamlessly bridged, fostering a thriving and interconnected digital landscape.

How To Register

Visit the official Matrix World website. (Note: The Matrix World platform will be migrated to and integrated into https://world3.ai in the very near future. We will also be introducing WORLD3 Mission so that our users can complete tasks and be rewarded!)
Prepare Your Account
Access the Matrix World by clicking the Login button in the right corner. You can sign-up and log-in with your email address. A verification code will be sent to your email upon every login to ensure ease and security. (Refer to Picture 1 and 2)
New users will need to register with a confirmation email that may take 2 to 5 minutes to arrive. If it does not arrive after this period, please check your spam or junk folder.
You can also connect your wallet to enjoy on-chain access! WORLD3 and Matrix World currently support MetaMask, OKX, and JoyID wallets.
After registration, you can click on “World” tab in the topbar to enter our 3D space!
Please note that this log-in process only needs to be repeated if the browser has been closed or the wallet has been disconnected from the page.

Customize Your Character in Our Avatar Editor!

One of the initial steps you will undertake is to select your avatar for use within Matrix World. The Avatar Editor is here to elevate customization for our users, and offers you an extensive selection of clothing and accessories to bring your avatars to life! You can mix and match your pieces, and in the future, you can make your own!

Enter Matrix World!

Welcome to Matrix World!

Use the Esc button to view your cursor and click on the Map icon in the corner to get around! The map also includes useful features such as displaying key landmarks and indicating your avatar’s current location, represented by a yellow arrow icon.

When teleporting within Matrix World, you will arrive at a golden spawn point within the chosen land plot. These spawn locations are conveniently positioned on the outer edge of each plot. You’ll soon be able to teleport to the Flow and Ethereum neighbourhoods in the very near future. But currently, you can teleport to and explore everything the Matrix World Flow Downtown has to offer!

Control Guide

As you embark on your journey within WORLD3, let’s take a moment to review the controls to ensure smooth navigation throughout this space. The controls within WORLD3 should feel somewhat familiar if you have previous gaming experience, allowing for natural navigation throughout the world without any difficulties:

The control scheme adheres to the standard ‘WASD’ movement configuration: ‘W’ initiates forward movement, ‘A’ initiates leftward movement, ‘S’ initiates backward movement, and ‘D’ initiates rightward movement. You can also use your Arrow keys for the same purpose.
Hold down the Shift key to accelerate your movement and change from a walk to a run. To jump, press the Spacebar.
Move your mouse to navigate your view and click through your experience. Right-click anywhere on the screen to disengage the camera tracking feature and regain control of your mouse for menu selections.

Other controls include:

‘F’ to interact with NPCs and other players.
‘U’ to hide HUD.
‘I’ to view your inventory.
’N’ to hide your username.
‘M’ to view the map.
‘Enter’ to chat.
Press ‘Esc’ to exit your view and/or view your cursor.

You can also adjust your Video Quality and Audio settings according to your preferences in the settings.

Chat

When logged in, users can chat in-world; a dialogue box appears above the avatar’s head when messages are sent. To engage in in-world chat, press ‘Enter’ to activate the chat box located in the bottom-left corner, type your message, and then press ‘Enter’ again to send it. These messages disappear after 5 seconds.

The Neighbourhood

*The Matrix World Flow Downtown is a bustling neighbourhood where you can play, engage, and explore!*

How To Get There? Use the Esc button to view your cursor and click on the Map icon in the corner to get around! You’ll soon be able to teleport to the Flow and Ethereum neighbourhoods in the very near future. But currently, you can teleport to and explore everything the Matrix World Flow Downtown has to offer!

AI Chatbot

Currently, Matrix World features an AI receptionist which harnesses the capabilities of Large Language Model (LLM) chatbot services, each specifically tailored to respond to inquiries based on customized knowledge sets. Our AI receptionists will help in fostering an organic experience that encourages participation. So say hi to them the next time you’re in Matrix World! They’re here to help. In the future, we will be introducing AI-powered digital companions with long-term memory. They learn, adapt, and evolve over hours of playtime, making your experience with them unique and engaging. Stay tuned for more details!

How to get there? Get close to our AI receptionist and press the interaction key ‘F’ to open the chat window. They can answer any question you might have! We also have AI hosts on the University of Alberta Campus, Matrix World Cargo Ship and WORLD3 Building.

Matrix World Headquarters

*The Matrix World Headquarters is your path to all things fun.*

How To Get There? Upon entering the Matrix World Flow Downtown through the teleportation portal, navigate your Avatar to enter the neighbourhood straight down the first walkway. Another hint is that, once you see the billboard that reads “All cities have to start somewhere…”, you will see the Matrix World Headquarters right across from it.

In the simplest of terms, upon teleporting to the neighbourhood, go straight, take a left, and then take a right!

Elevator

The Elevator in the Matrix World Headquarters is the conduit to even more immersive experiences. Use the Elevator to access the Ethereum Exhibition Hall, the Hoverboard Racing game, and the Instance Spaces of our partners, such as Nervape, Unicorn, and many others!

Instance Spaces

Instance Spaces are domains in our 3D interactive social hub where WORLD3 users and partners can create curated experiences for all to enjoy! While you can access these Instance Spaces through the elevator, you can also do so directly by entering the permalinks into your browser.

Ethereum Exhibition Hall

*This was developed during our previous collaboration with Ethereum.*

The Ethereum 3D Social Exhibition Hall was Matrix World’s first multi-chain pavilion project and located in an Instance Room in the Matrix Universe Building, and users will use an elevator to enter. It aims to provide users with an immersive virtual space to learn about the ETH ecosystem and culture. This space allows users to learn what ETH is, how to create an ETH wallet, how to stake and buy ETH, the history of ETH, the ETH community, ongoing events, and more! Our AI ETH guides will guide users through the entire exhibition hall and answer their questions.

How to get there? Press the interactive key ‘F’ in front of the elevator in WORLD3 Headquarters lobby and select 2F to enter the square of ETH Social Pavilion. The interior of the pavilion can be reached by the beam elevator in the central area.

How to Interact? Users can approach the smart screen in the venue and press the interaction key ‘F’ to interact, including using the ETH wallet to sign in, jump to the specified URL, chat with the AI robot, etc.

How to Leave? Take the beam elevator back to the Pavilion square, then press the interactive key ‘F’ near the portal to select another floor and leave.

University of Alberta

Matrix Labs is committed to fostering the ongoing relationship between itself and the academic community. As such, Matrix Labs built a University Park inside Matrix World, our 3D interactive social hub, to provide universities with a means of connecting with students beyond physical boundaries, offering high-quality education worldwide in a flexible, engaging learning environment. The University of Alberta was the first to be added to our University Park to initiate Matrix World’s mission to serve as an immersive, interactive, and globally accessible platform for education.

How to get there? Use the Esc button to view your cursor and click on the Map icon in the corner to get around! You’ll soon be able to teleport to the UofA Campus. But currently, you can teleport to and explore everything the UofA Campus has to offer!

Unicorn seeu

How To Get There? A collaborative project between WORLD3 and Unicorn seeu, users can visit the corresponding smart screen here. Step into the smart screen and press the ‘F’ key to trigger interactive jump to the specified URL.

Nervape

How To Leave? Press the interactive key ‘F’ near the elevator to select another floor and leave.

Hoverboard Game

*The Hoverboard Racing game is the first game to be released in the Matrix World.*

How To Get There? Use the elevator in the Matrix World Headquarters to enter into our Hoverboard racing stadium. Approach the arcade platform to begin your game.

For Multi-Player Games: Stand in the bowl, and as soon as another player steps in, a countdown will begin for your race to start!
