Stock up with end of season shopping tips

Spring is in the air and though you’re ready to transition your wardrobe to tee-shirts and flip flops here’s some great advice for stocking up on those winter weather essentials. The end-of-season sales are a great time to hit up your favorite retailers for fashion basics and timeless must-haves for next year. Though you’re ready to ditch the heavy sweaters and wool jackets, it’s really your best time to keep those warm and fuzzy wardrobe staples on the brain. Here’s some top tips for stocking your closet for next year!

End-of-season shopping advice

1. Timeless trends

Don’t stock up on this season’s must-haves. Instead look for timeless trends that will still look great next season. Try to snag lots of neutrals that you can mix and match like black, navy, browns and greys.

2. Don’t settle for a steal

It’s easy to get sucked into a good deal. But just because the price is right doesn’t mean the item is best for you. Ask yourself, “Would I buy this full price” before you decide.

3. Size is everything

You’ve found the perfect coat for next season and the price is right! But…. the size stinks. Don’t purchase it if it doesn’t fit you correctly right now. You may say, “Well I will for sure lose 10 pounds by winter”, but choose what fits you now, not what size you hope to be later.
