Um. Well. Not really? What you just described, in my mind, is getting users signed up. Signed up is not the same thing as onboarding. Onboarding, again to me, is part of the tone set and foundation created that’s part of the broader experience that ideally creates repeat users.

That is, onboarding isn’t about signups, it’s about retention.
