WSG x Milky Relationship
There have been a lot of talks about our relationship with the MilkyWay project lately, so let’s start at the beginning…
The WSG team offered support for the up-and-coming MilkyWay DEX project both financially and with marketing activities. We were and still are the #1 Milkyway supporters but since the bad timing of the start of the project, things have unfortunately been going in the wrong direction for them. The most important part of our deal with them was that they introduce the MILKY token to the WSG chest rewards system and they have been upholding that part of the agreement even though it was not very favorable for their project.
What is the situation now?
After lengthy discussions and a lot of brainstorming, the Milkyway team and we have reached the best possible conclusion. We will be parting ways from now on. The chest rewards will offer WSG once again, and we will not be partnered with the Milkyway project anymore. This is also for the best for them to lower the selling pressure on their token. Per our agreement, they will announce the next steps for Milkyway in a few days to inform the community of what lies ahead.
WSG Chest Rewards Update
As you may have read above, the chest rewards are switching back to WSG. The rewards are adjusted to have the project as sustainable as possible. The rewards will be higher than they were when MILKY was awarded.

WSG Roadmap & Governance
Once again, we have to address the importance of Governance for the WSG roadmap. As you know, the WSG model has switched to governance, meaning that the community is in charge of the project. That is why the team has created the WSG Governance Platform where you, the community have to engage to create a new roadmap for the project.

We will be creating a vote for the first Governance decision for the project to get it started. The example vote will also be supported with instructions on how to participate and how to create your own vote! We believe it will be a great milestone and we would be really happy if you would contribute your vote on the platform!
