I’m one of those who has been warning about this from day 1 at which point Don’s criminal behavior was already painfully obvious. The only way he can avoid accountability is to stay in office indefinitely, which he will absolutely try to do, even if he loses in a landslide.

It’s not just possible, it’s extremely probable that Don refuses to leave office whenever his time comes. The only thing I can imagine changing that is the promise of a pardon from his successor, and even that may not be enough since Don faces state charges in New York against which a pardon is meaningless.

Buckle up because it’s gonna get even uglier.
