Sometimes

Suns shine

Birds fly

And sing

Through skies

Thick with

Summertime

Dissipates doom

Flowers bloom

The fecundity

Of opportunity

Takes hold

Of the earth

Arrives life

Hope absent

Of strife

Peace and possibility

Abound all around

Joy teems

Dreams find me

In a state

Of serenity

I hear them whisper

Words on the wind

And I smile

Sometimes

….

Sometimes
