You nailed it Sasha Stone too many millennials were duped — for a whole host of reasons — into believing A) Hillary was a demon and B) Bernie was a saint. They (we, I’m a millennial, just not a naive one) were spoon-fed BS about a woman that Republicans have been using for decades, indeed before some of those millennial voters were born.
Furthermore, those millennials, living as we are under decades worth of failed, right-wing economic iedology are prone to embrace Bernie’s far-left economic ideology which is just as fallible, but appealing to those born into the extreme inequity of Reaganomics.
Historians will study this election and find a lot of horrifying forces converging at once, but young voters will certainly be somewhat culpable in their inability to distinguish between Trump and Hillary. They exist on different moral and intellectual planes, with track records that, when examined over decades, reveal two entirely different people. And if you were somehow delusional enough to think that Hillary was “just as bad as” or “the same” as Trump, then objectively speaking you’re an idiot.
