No, you’ve got it all wrong, young lady. Bur I suspect that because of your youth, inexperience and immaturity, you thought “shock and awe” appropriate in this particular instance. Nuance is required instead, and an ability understand what’s going on. McCain is not the monster here, it is the cancer. And though we may disagree with his politics, it is vile and vulgar to applaud his condition. It lacks class. It is a condition that is quite capable of touching everyone us at any time. It is appropriate to point out that every federal politician does benefit from a Rolls Royce healthcare plan that we the uninsured taxpayers pay for.
I do think it important to distinguish between the real monsters and what should normally be the loyal opposition. The Senate are still the civilized body that attempts to remain above the fray, with rare exceptions. If this was Ted Cruz, by all means, have at it. Nobody likes that slimy obsequious turd, and still can’t stand the fact he managed to con his way into that august body, same with Rand Paul. But half of the four Republican Senators who refused to vote for the grotesquerie that is the best HC Bill their side could come up with, did so for the same reasons that all Dem Senators refused to. R Senators that refused because the Bill wasn’t horrific enough are the ones to direct your ire and hostility towards. OCare ain’t going nowhere now. The real monsters are in the House of Reps. Tea Party toadies and the moronic Freedumb Carcass. That asshole Scalise who got shot a few weeks back, he brought it on himself, chickens coming home to roost. I’m not going to spend 5 seconds giving a rat’s ass about him. People generally do get what they deserve and the violence, hatred and murder directed at the left for the last 50 years, and there is more than most realize, that’s the price of fighting for what you believe in. So Scalise understands that himself. But the 50,000 to 90,000 people a year who have, will continue to die for lack of access to healthcare have taken care of that debt, and any other, for years to come.
