Demos of Chinese Input Method (Android) for English Speakers

Received some interesting feedback, and below are some clarifications.

This input method isn’t trying to “replace” the existing Chinese input methods, but to provide an alternative specificlly for English native speakers. With this input method, one doesn’t have to be familiar with Pinyin, or strokes.

Other than this advantage, there are some others compared with copying results from online translation websites:

  1. more privacy. What you type doesn’t get sent to any web servers, and stays just on your phone.
  2. more convenient. You don’t have to open web brower or at least click a “translate” button and wait for response, because with this input method the translation will show instantly while you type in English.
