Thank you so much for sharing. I feel frustrated and upset that you’re professional identity has been objectified in this way. I also feel frustrated and upset that you’re experience isn’t an isolated one and that so many men fail to realise the prevalence of these experiences.

Exploring ones own sexual identity and expression for oneself is one of the most exciting and rewarding things someone can give to themselves. More men totally need to explore this.

A key problem with experiences like yours is the narrative of “man like. Man take” leading to generations of men who don’t know how to explore their sexual identity and communicate that in a way that is healthy and respectful for themselves but also the person they are interacting with.

Knowing oneself within a sexual/kink frame and knowing how to share that in a way that is positive is SO FUCKING SEXY and more importantly so rewarding for self, let alone others.

We urgently need to change our wider social narrative on sexual relationships so that people know what healthy, positive and sexy identity, expression and communication is. Thank you for being an active voice in that change.
