ITS MORE THAN DISPLACEMENT .

Prior to the inception of the ravaging nightmare called Boko-Haram, the Northeast was indisputably a haven and an unparalleled tourist center for the cultivation of peace and allied socio-economic realities. The piecemeal emergence and abrupt penetration of the nightmare, has devastatingly ruined and subdued the consciousness of many by instilling negative and unrewarding tendencies such as fear, distrust, blunt marginalization and a dire primitive task of reconstructing the delusive of many that were affected whether directly or otherwise. Imperative to know is the fact that, the already implanted negative tendencies can be cured through programs that will yield awareness mechanism and also help in the rehabilitation process. Through calculated support, the Northeast can regain its lost heritage and glory. the inhabitants therein can be reintegrated into the society so that life can move on. Women and children in the northeast battles with the phobia of acceptance and it is at this point that we need to individually and/or collectively support them to ensure gender balance. Meaningful awareness campaign should also be contemplated by government parastatals, organizations, individuals etc so we can help cushion the effect insurgency has caused. doing all these will ensure incorporating the already fearful zone of the Northeast and will resuscitate the forlorn hope of the populace for a meaningful lifestyle.
