Breaking and Maintaining Patterns

Your failures and successes will result from the errors and disciplines in your daily judgments — decision making. In fact, the belief of some kind of generational patterns can be traced to errors and disciplines in decisions repeated across generations. The Wise would pause and observe the patterns evident in their nation, generation, and families and take specific steps to address them. The same way genes are passed to generations, so also errors & disciplines in judgment. Observe to see which you are more prone to repeat.
It is not rocket science, take a closer look at your family, gather your life’s data; your excuses and motivations, you’re either reinforcing what already is or you are making concerted effort to be different. And if you have noticed an unfavourable pattern, what are you doing about it? This is why History (His/Her Story) is not something you toy with, either by distorting it or by denying people of having clue of it. Whoever, individuals/Nations, that can’t remember their History are prone to repeating the failures of the past — sincerely & innocently!!!
It is therefore not impossible that your current failures or successes are traceable to some errors or disciplines in judgement, over time. This means, daily errors & disciplines count. They matter so much that you want to be careful to make amends whenever you veer off the mark.
Make effort to increase your decision-making capacity and not repeat the failures of the past by embracing daily disciplines in your judgement. It may be a tough call but in the long run, it pays. At least, you’ll be an exception to one of the theories of perception: Stereotype.
Your life will be entirely different from established/perceived generational patterns that exists in your Nation, family and peers. According to Jim Rohn: Failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day.” Success is a few simple disciplines, practiced every day!
