Dr. Hembree is a native of Newnan, Georgia and joined Blue Ridge Orthopedics in 2012. He graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Hembree completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, as well as a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Hembree is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and is a member of the South Carolina Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Hembree’s special areas of interest include total ankle replacement, foot and ankle sports injuries, foot and ankle trauma, in addition to treatment of general orthopedic trauma.
