Brief on the 2nd Session of Waltonchain Blockchain Meetup: Xiamen City, Fujian Province
On May 13, the 2nd session of Waltonchain Blockchain Meetup was held in Siming District Software Park, Xiamen city, Fujian province. Waltonchain Project Initiator Mr. Xu Fangcheng, COO Mr. Chen Zhangrong (Monitor Chan), Freyrchain Founder & CEO Mr. Leo Lee and Waltonchain Director of Operations Mr. Ou Zhunjie were invited to be the speakers and shared their insights on the forth-looking blockchain technology, the real-world implementation and development of Waltonchain’s ground-breaking blockchain + IoT technology with the present Waltonchain community members and blockchain enthusiasts. Later WTC Wallet Customer Executive Liu Zehang (Ángel) introduced the Waltonchain Wallets to the audience and answered the related questions.
Waltonchain has attracted enormous attention since the official launch of its Mainnet and so did the Waltonchain Blockchain Meetup held in Shenzhen on April 28, which gathered many community members. In order to meet the demand of community members in different locations in China, Waltonchain brought this Blockchain Meetup to Xiamen, a promising city for technology and innovation in Southeast China beside the Taiwan Strait, in an effort to promote in-depth communication with Waltonchain Supporters in Xiamen city.
The Meetup began at 14:30 on May 13 with Director of Operations Mr. Ou Zhunjie giving the opening speech to share the latest development progress of the Waltonchain project and the promising future of Waltonchain.
Afterwards, the moderator Ms. Zhai Jin delivered a presentation on the forward-looking nature of the blockchain technology and the application and development of the Waltonchain. She detailed to the audience on how we are entering a new era of human civilization with the embrace of the blockchain technology. As an industry leader in blockchain and IoT, Waltonchain aims at building a “Parent Chain + Child Chain + Application + Chip” underlying commercial ecosystem with the support of its leading chip technology and blockchain framework technology. Waltonchain will grow continuously with the increase of demand for its RFID chips and popularization of its blockchain technology. The whole society including Waltonchain supporters will witness the benefit of the technological and innovative advancement of the blockchain technology.
After a WTC-related warm-up game, The meet-up proceeded to the next section, the introduction of the WTC Wallets. WTC Wallet Customer Executive Ángel explained such related topics as how to create a wallet, wallet interface and functions, token sending and receiving. In order to provide the audience with a better understanding of WTC mining, Ángel also explained how hardware configuration and token amount are related to the chance of mining a new block.
After the speech, Ángel held a Q&A session for those who have questions on WTC Wallet and mining. At the end of the meetup, the audience was very excited to receive WTC souvenirs and made a group picture at the event venue.
