About this document

This document will explain how information you enter within the Atmos platform will be used, stored, protected, and handled by WarpLight.

Personal information

Your personal information, such as first and last names, birth dates, or gender identity, are made private or public depending on specific settings, and are associated with your WarpLight Account once the information has been entered correctly and saved. Some features may use your personal information to run verification checks, such as to verify that you are eligible to use certain features. Your personal information, along with other information associated with your WarpLight Account is never shared with third-parties without prior approval by you. Other WarpLight platforms and services may access information associated with your WarpLight Account to allow proper operation and continuity.

Emails

Your email address is used for a several functions throughout Atmos and WarpLight services. With it, you will need to enter it during the registration process when making your WarpLight Account with us. Afterwards, it is used again when you wish to sign-in to WarpLight platforms and services. Your email address is never shared with third-parties without prior approval by you. The email address that is associated with your WarpLight Account may receive communications relating to (but not limited to) major platform updates, changes to your WarpLight Account, or communications between you and us. When contacting us, the email address you send the email from will only be seen by appropriate recipients within the WarpLight network. It does not have to be the same email address as a registered WarpLight Account that you own, but the registered email address may be requested in some cases, such as for the use of restoring access to a restricted WarpLight Account. Your email address and / or other WarpLight Account identifiers may be summoned through third-parties, such as payment processors or donation platforms. This allows us to activate WarpLight Quantum features for WarpLight Accounts with matching WarpLight Account identifiers.

Cookies

When visiting any of our services for the first time, you may encounter a message notifying you about cookie usage on your device. This cookie records information for functional purposes only. If you deny the cookies, you may need to sign in more frequently, and some configurable settings might not apply. These cookies do not track your activities, and third-party cookies are never utilized.

Post privacy

Your posts belong to you and are visible to only those you choose. Posts that are designated as “private” in any capacity remain visible to moderators, even if it is not shared with them. This is only to help enforce the Atmos Platform Guidelines, and moderators are prohibited from sharing any information discovered while performing those tasks outside of the moderation network or with other users. Moderators also have the ability to view content that has been flagged either automatically, manually, or by another user on the platform. In most cases, many of your posts will not be seen by a moderator unless it is automatically flagged, manually flagged, or reported by another user. For more information regarding prohibited activities and content which may be subject to moderation, refer to the Atmos Platform Guidelines.

Deleting posts

When you delete a post, the post (and any uploaded media that is attached to that post) will be deleted from our infrastructure. However, moderators will be able to “soft-delete” content for review if it is not already deleted by you. This allows moderators to review suspicious content if it were to be flagged either automatically or manually by another user, allowing moderators to act against offending content. Moderators are prohibited from disclosing any discovered information outside of the moderation network or with other users, and appropriate action will be taken if a moderator abuses their position.

Security

When using Atmos, your public IP address, as well as some device-specific identifiers, will be logged. This enables you to view recent WarpLight Account activity, such as logins or profile changes. Using your public IP address allows a state or province to be shown when viewing recent activity related to your WarpLight Account. Measures will be taken to ensure that your general location and IP data stays secure on our infrastructure. Developers within the WarpLight network are prohibited from disclosing any of this information. Your password and two-factor authentication information are encrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone. Your password cannot be seen by WarpLight and the password can only be reset by either you or WarpLight support.

Non-disclosure notice

Persons within the WarpLight developer network, including Live Feedback Team members, have promised not to disclose any confidential information that is discovered by either a developer, moderator, staff member, or Live Feedback Team member to any third-party without prior approval from the owner, and appropriate action will be taken if anyone were to disclose confidential information to another party. Confidential information is anything (but not limited to) items that can specifically and / or personally identify you, such as a physical home address, legal name, social security number, government issued identification, driver’s license, or any other kind of information that is specifically tied to a specific user. Any private and / or confidential information entered into our platforms and / or services stays confidential, even if you choose to delete your WarpLight Account, which will cause any stored data associated with the WarpLight Account to be deleted from our infrastructure. All staff members, developers, moderators, and Live Feedback Team members within the WarpLight network are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement between themselves and WarpLight. This non-disclosure agreement does not expire, and if they leave WarpLight in full, any information they have discovered or have been exposed to that is considered confidential is forbidden from being disclosed. Non-disclosure agreements do not expire, even if WarpLight or any of its platforms or services are destroyed.
