Hello from Philadelphia on Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention. Each day here just keeps getting better! This morning, we hosted a panel discussion about economic opportunity and development that result from public-private partnerships in the City of Philadelphia. Restaurants are at the heart of the revitalization and development efforts across the City, and our panelists from the City discussed the critical role that restaurants play in the communities in and around Philadelphia. It was a wonderful opportunity to promote the importance of the restaurant industry.

We transitioned from our morning panel to the evening speeches in the Convention Hall. What a line-up of speakers and speeches! From Vice Presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine to the Vice President and the President — it was an amazing day here in Philadelphia to celebrate our industry and our presence at the Convention!

Tomorrow, we’ll wrap up our engagement at this year’s convention, but we’ll continue our #RestaurantsDecide throughout this election year!
