Interesting article.
This is a very tough area to address.
Support and Sales are so different, it’s almost impossible to get them to solve together for the client as companies get larger.
Organizations don’t make it easy for their people to win for the customer.
As organizations grow lines form.
When there are lines there are borders.
Borders create fiefdoms.
How are organizations removing the lines?
How are they running at scale with department leaders with conflicting interests and resources like budget and competition for their leaders attention?
It’s no one’s fault. It’s just math that hasn’t been solved yet.
