Webb Cup (Game Week 23)

Good Evening everybody on this beautiful Sunday evening in late January. This is the first of it’s kind, the first in Webb Cup history, Instead of filling up your timeline, welcome to Webb Cup Medium. GameWeek 23 news this week is brought to you by the CEO himself, the man, the master, the power, the people, the legend, the top-dog … Tony Webb.

Weekend Review

Lowest Scorers for GameWeek 23 are Rikki Hill & Craig Parks both with 0. Both competitors failed to predict and therefore both drop in their divisions. Aston Villa fan Rikki drops to 79th (9th in Foxmoor Security Division) & Craig Parks failure has seen him slump to a new career low of 94th. Hang your head in shame boys, you are now ruled out of January’s free raffle draw.

Highest Scorer for GameWeek 23 goes to ‘Mindogs’ Chris Meecham as known by many as Robocop, he gained 10 points. Chris took full advantage of the Super Section this week by predicting Chelsea to beat Arsenal & his beloved Nottingham Forest to beat top of the table Middlesborough, thus giving him a maximum 6 points from the Super Section. With this brilliant score of 10 he moves go 67th (7th in the iWant Media Division.)

Top of the Webb Cup as of GameWeek 23 is recent birthday boy Mike Anderson. He predicted a West Ham United draw against Manchester City and gained 2 points to extend his lead over Long Lewis Tonks by two points.

Big shout out this week to Bossman Mayo, when he took over a competitors place back in early December, he found himself in 98th place. But within 6 weeks he has already risen to 75th, and in the past two GameWeeks has seen scores of 8 & 9.

Bossman Mayo

Next week sees the return of the FA Cup and 7 weeks until lockdown on March 13th.

Thankyou for your time, much love, your CEO.
