Exactly. The assumption is that because they were fired the Administration may be trying to ‘cover-up’ information that they don’t want made public.

Of course, that may be the case but your interpretation of the scenario is equally possible though hardly as sinister and therefore less dramatic.

Obviously drama that encourages fear and outrage is the ‘thing’ these days.
