$100K Poker Challenge — Abhishek Rathod and Arsh Grover
Poker is on rise in India as thousands of young talents are taking it professionally and achieving success. Several Indian poker players have fetched outstanding individual scores in the online poker tournaments over the years but, a combined goal of $100K was something on the minds of Abhishek and Arsh.
Abhishek who now lives in Sweden and plays poker professionally has over $100k in lifetime tournament earnings. Arsh, a New-Delhi lad and the youngest poker sensation of India has also over $96K in online tournament winnings. The two grinders have teamed up for an year for the $100K challenge.
Abhishek plays under the screen name of abhi147 while Arsh’s poker alias in BigggTymer in online poker. The two Indian players have set up a combined goal of earning $100,000 in online poker tournaments in a year. The duo set off on ths journey on 31st July’15 and have already bagged over $10,000.
While speaking to OnlinePokerNews in an exclusive interview, Arsh and Abhishek said, “We’ll play low and mid stakes MTTs ($55 or below) on a number on poker sites including 888 Poker, PokerStars, Full Tilt, Titan, Winamax, Party Poker for an year. We’ll be reviewing our performances and discussing for further improvements in our games to achieve the set target of $100,000.”
It’s definitely an huge challenge for both the players to maintain their game and profit graphs thorough-out an year to reach their goal.
