Nowadays devs don’t need to download dependencies one by one and even on the backend scenario it is like it too with composer and other tools.

All code that goes in our project should be treated as our own code and we will need to give support and report any issues with project managers or anyone that audits or something.

In fact, looking into enterprise coding, if we are using Express in our codebase, then we ourselves are doing that shameful plug advertisement.
