  1. Fear of Failure. Many people are afraid that if they write down goals and don’t accomplish them then people will view them as failures. We as a society are so worried about what other people think they we allow their opinions to determine our actions.
  2. Lack of Knowledge. Sometimes we simply have no idea how to write a goal and so we don’t. In school we are taught to read articles, write papers, regurgitate useless information but not to write down our personal goals.
  3. Lack of Direction. Simply meaning, we have no idea what we want. When was the last time you sat down and asked yourself, what is it that I want? Ask yourself questions like, how much money do I want to make, what do I want my relationships to look like or what kind of profession would I enjoy? Answer these questions honesty and see if you are living the life you really want.
