It’s implanting the idea that if you are consciously deciding to hire minorities, the level of skills or experience they might possess is not the defining factor — which is absolute bull. A rich workplace needs diversity of voices and perspectives to be successful and thriving.

It’s absurd and weird for people to think like that — to go beyond this to begin to envy the status of minorities when they are up for jobs.
