Erin Go Green Smoothie

Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, right?! Well at least everyone can celebrate with this deliciously healthy “Erin Go Green Smoothie”!

It’s the perfect blend of sweet, refreshing and nutrient dense! Mint helps your body digest food better. As a natural stimulant, it aids in weight loss by helping your body burn fat faster. Spinach is one of our favorite leafy greens, packed with iron, magnesium, vitamin A, B6, C, E and K, niacin and zinc, an all around excellent source of dietary fiber.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups almond milk, unsweetened

1 ½ cups fresh spinach

½ cup fresh mint leaves

2 bananas

4 medjool dates, pitted

1 teaspoon honey

OPTIONAL: mix in Amazing Grass Superfoods for an extra boost!!

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend spinach, mint, and almond milk until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

*Use frozen fruit to make smoothie cold.
