Thank you for 2014, hello 2015

Thanks to you 2014 was an amazing year: Wemap sprang to life as you created and shared your first pictures, your first insider’s tips and more all while using Wemap to discover great places and happenings and save beautiful memories from your trips.

We’ve also received a phenomenal amount of feedback and ideas that help our development efforts to make Wemap the ultimate personal map.

No one makes New Year’s Resolutions anymore but we’ve decided to make one: do everything possible so that Wemap gets more enjoyable and more accessible every day.

And as a starter: here are some indications to help you find your friends in Wemap.

Tap the search button and then type their name into the search bar.

Once you’ve found your friend, just tap on the ‘+” icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Another option is to connect with your friends through your address book, Twitter or Facebook by tapping on the magnifier in “My Friends”. From there, you can either invite your friends to join you in Wemap or link with the ones that are already part of the community.

Finally we could not help but mention the events of last week in France which resonated deeply within the Wemap team. We created a Livemap to capture the actions that united millions of people around-the-world in a spirit of compassion and tolerance over the past 7 days that we want to share with you.
