Earth Hour: Will You Switch Off for 1 Hour?

At 8:30 pm (UK time) on 26th March 2022, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is inviting people to partake in a challenge to turn off all their electrical items for one hour.

No phones.

No television,

No lights.

You get the picture.

This will save some electricity and is an opportunity to bring some focus to the damage we are making to our precious blue planet.

WWF also encourages us to:

· Enjoy being outside in nature

· encourage your friends to join in

Coincidentally, 6 minutes after the start of Earth Hour the International Space Station will be visible across the UK skies for precisely 3 minutes.
