Because the majority of the people had their coins locked in DAO and didn’t know how to split/withdraw their ETC. If people can’t sell, of course the price is going to be inflated.

Ethereum Classic is doing fine, Ethereum is now no longer a blockchain, just a database that anyone can edit if they force/ask/bribe EF.

You have a free market choice, leave Bitcoin, fork away a create your altcoin or buy an altcoin.
