Make My Day

The great thing about other people’s possessions is that you don’t have to care one whit about them.

They’re not yours, so it doesn’t matter to you what happens to them; you don’t need to take care of them and, when you’re done with them, you can just leave them wherever is most convenient for you and not give them a second thought — when you’re done with someone else’s phone, for example, you can just chuck it out of the car window if it’d be less effort than passing it back to them.

It’s the same with someone else’s kids … they’re not your responsibility, so you don’t have to trouble yourself about what they do or what happens to them.

In fact, other people’s kids are great.

Fancy a day out with the kids?

Then pop down to your local playground, park or school, pick up a likely looking child or two and take them to the seaside for the day … and, when you’re bored/tired, you can just leave them there and go home because they’re not your responsibility.

Go on … make someone’s day … take them to the seaside, the zoo, the funfair or somewhere — give them the gift of a day they’ll never forget as long as they live.
