Where Angels Fear

Good Morning

Good morning, World … Life sucks and that’s all there is to it.

The first thing they do when you’re born is hit you.

From then on you’re used and abused, nobody truly loves you and you can’t have faith in anyone or anything — at best you can look forward to growing apart from someone you never really knew anyway, only thought you did, and have since learned to despise nearly as much as they loathe you.

Nothing matters, means anything or makes any sense.

By the time you die your favourite colour has faded, but you lost the capacity to care long before you noticed that anyway — you die alone (very likely lonely), having achieved nothing of any significance along the way … people quickly forget you, get on with their lives and you might as well never have been here in the first place for all the difference you made.

Life sucks and so do you … that’s all there is to it.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
