Margaret Thatcher Day

If someone wants to writhe around in soiled nappies for a day then let them, but, I don’t see why some fawning, inbred bed-wetter should get to steal our holiday from us because he’s having an attack of religious fervour over a cult-of-the-personality demagogue cannonised as a god-queen — what century is this?

Could there be any clearer exhibition of what they are than the fact that … instead of creating something new in their goddess’ honour, they want to appropriate one from someone else and palm it off as tribute? When she first became Prime Minister, how many of them stole the congratulatory bouquet from the nearest cemetery, I wonder.

Of course, the greatest irony of the ‘Tory’ party is its origins …

1566, “an outlaw,” specifically “a robber,” from Ir. toruighe “plunderer,” originally “pursuer, searcher,” from O.Ir. toirighim “I pursue,” related to toracht “pursuit.”

In other words, a thief.

And we all know how much honour there is amongst thieves.

“I love Maggie Thatcher. She was such an inspiration to so many — in death as in life she will always be in my heart!”

You’ll be needing a triple bypass then.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
