People might like to peruse the work of Edward de Bono (the coiner of the term ‘lateral thinking’ ) as well.
He gets horribly repetitive over time but the following three books should be enough to get the message:
- Practical Thinking: 4 Ways to be Right; 5 Ways to be Wrong; 5 Ways to Understand (1971)
- The Use of Lateral Thinking (1967) and/or Lateral Thinking: Creativity Step by Step (1970)
- Teaching Thinking (1976)
Six Thinking Hats (1985) is probably the best known and most popular and also worth a read.
