Cancer. Been there, done that….and chose to learn from it and walk away from it.
One of the many things that I learned from the profound Gift of Cancer that I lovingly gave myself is that the outer world of form, of ‘physicality’ which we have been conditioned to believe is the only real world, is merely a reflection of the inner, formless reality. Any conflict, any disharmony, any cancer, any disease, any imbalance, any challenge, any injustice, any lack, any problem we encounter in the outer physical world of form is a reflection of a conflict, disharmony, cancer, disease, imbalance, challenge, injustice, lack, or problem we are experiencing in our inner, formless, non-physical reality.
Collectively and individually we have been conditioned to always look outside of us to the physical world of form for answers to our many apparent problems. For cancer and disease we look outward to doctors and corporate medicine for salvation. For injustices we look outward to legal systems to restore justice. For lack, we look outward to an endless supply of self-help gurus and coaches and books and tapes and courses and videos. For war, we look outward to our military organizations to restore peace. For understanding we look outward towards pundits and biased news media with a vested interest in certain perspectives. For self-love, we look outward to find someone to be in a relationship with.
As long as we look outward into the physical world of form we cannot solve any problem. That outward physical world of form is merely a reflection of what is going on in our personal and collective inner, formless world. We cannot look in a mirror and fix problems in the mirror. The problems can only be addressed in that which the mirror is reflecting.
Cancer, injustice, struggle, conflict, poverty, meaninglessness, and war cannot be fixed exclusively within the outer physical world of form. We might be able to juggle things around for a temporary ‘truce’ but the problem will continue to rear its ugly head in one form or another until we, personally and collectively, look within to find out what is at the root of the outward manifestation and then correct the imbalance within our inner, formless dimension of consciousness.
If we are waiting for someone else to look within for answers before we do then we are looking without and not looking within. Sadly, we have been conditioned since early childhood to always took without and we don’t know how to look within. We are closed off. Every problem we encounter, both personally and globally, is a golden opportunity, a prodding, to choose to look within. Continued failure to look within only creates ever more opportunities and proddings to do so and the severity of those opportunities only increase until we finally look within. Cancer and war are two of the greatest opportunities to help force us to look within but so many of us are so closed off to the inward, formless world that even these opportunities fail. And therefore we continue to not find balance, justice, peace, abundance, vibrant health, love, and joy. And outer conflict only continues and escalates.
Our seemingly physical world of form is a mirror of the unseen formless world. It is impossible to change the physical world of form without first going within and changing that which the mirror is reflecting. And that is something we can only do individually. The more individuals who do this, the quicker the gruesome picture in the collective mirror changes.
Thanks for another wonderful article, Jonas.
