Day 3: The Boot Camp

The day started off well, a nice warm cup of tea, followed with the exciting warm ups that jog your mind really good, let’s call it a “head-rush” for today, that everyone in Andela has to take part in, no exception, which I find it to be really awesome.

After warms ups, it was business as usual, yaay!

I must say, today was pretty intense, time was really running out and we still have to cover so much that was scheduled for the day by our trainers.

Today’s trainer was Prof Nandaa and he was the one who took us through today’s agenda which was:

• Data types
• Data structures
• *args, **kwargs
• OOP
• Importing modules

Apart from that, he still touched on the topic for loops again, because he realized the previous day, so many people, not only me had a huge problem with loops, but after a deep thorough explanation, can I say I’m happy, I finally understand how the FOR LOOP works.

Anyway, moving away from that, Object Oriented Programming, ain’t this topic wide. What we managed to touch on, can I say it was just a fraction of it.

From Inheritance to Classes to Objects to Superclass to Subclass, that is what we were able to cover. Can’t wait to see what day 4 holds.
