I use elements of your design sprint process with my high school English students as we apply design thinking to our efforts to understand literature and all the things. Crazy eights and the emphasis on ideating quickly followed by storyboarding have been extremely powerful in helping my crew wrap their heads around possibilities. Here are a few pics from our “How might we stage ‘To be or not to be?’ in a way that demonstrates a complete understanding of Hamlet?” ideating session. (We use LEGO bricks for feedback in lieu of sticker dots.)
Loved this post and looking forward to getting my hands on the book.
