I’m not sure how many educators in the #dtk12chat community you have spoken with -- or would even care to considering the dismissive tone of most of this piece -- but anyone versed in DT would immediately note that one of design thinking’s key appeals is its cyclical nature. I’m frustrated with a popularized notion that design thinking is a problem solving process, something you learn in a 2 hour workshop, or some magical panacea. DT ain’t any of those. It’s a collective mindset built around strategies and perspectives that have been around a long time.

I noticed your concern for ethnographers. Truth there. We don’t want to insult practitioners of any craft by suggesting what they do is easy, simple, or done by anyone who read some articles.
